Pleating 101

I am beginning a series of smocking lessons at Everything Sewing Forum, and I thought that I would share the series on my blog. It doesn't matter what brand pleater you have, all basically look the same and some have more rows than others. I have a 24 row Sally Stanley pleater that I have had for about 20 years. My very first pleater was a Read 16 row, which I owned for about 5 years prior to purchasing my SS. Ok, I hope this is informational for you.
