More Sewing for Preemies
Here are some sets that my Threads of Love Chapter makes for our local hospital - these sets are Bereavement Sets, which include a gown, cap, blanket, keepsake envelope, grief bear, prayer and brochure about the Threads of Love Ministry. We make these sets in size 00 (1/2lbs) to Full Term. The Keepsake Envelope (FREE pattern on my website - go to Threads of Love Link) includes a certificate for Recognition of Life where the parents can have the baby's feet imprinted. The Grief Bear is also used for this purpose - printing the baby's hands and feet on the paws of the bear. The Labor & Delivery Nurses are so very appreciative of our work, and say that our sets bring much comfort to families who are grieving the loss of their precious infant.

Laurie, what you and your group do is just so so special. Those "sets" are beautiful and so lovingly thought out and fabricated. SO SPECIAL!
What a beautiful set of clothing. Thank you for the tutorials. I am just learning, and having a hard time getting started.
Laurie, what a wonderful gift to give. I had tears in my eyes as I was admiring the beautiful work you do for these precious babies.
warm wishes kerrie
